Shree Mumbadevi Mandir Charities is a religious charitable organisation registered with the Charity Commissioner's office in Mumbai. The trust was established in 1952, under guidelines ordered by the Bombay High Court, and is managed by nine trustees who work towards the objects of the trust. The main object of the trust is to maintain the temple in Mumbai.
As a secondary object of the trust, Shree Mumbadevi Mandir Charities also runs a 44-bed old age home named Jeevan Sandhya Smruti, for poor and needy senior citizens in Sola, Ahmedabad. The trustees charge a very nominal amount for providing shelter and food, along with a medical emergency facility available on demand. This activity is handled by seven staff members of the trust, including the manager.
